Battle of the Botanicals

After a five year hiatus, BATTLE IS BACK! This year we are inviting eight of our region’s top bartender/chef teams to profile their talents and help us raise funds for Hitchcock Center’s environmental justice programs. 21+

Nature Summer Camp

Hitchcock Summer Camp is a space where hopeful, creative problem solvers come together to play, shout, build, discover, and create. Registration is open now for kids grades K-9! Join the fun

Whether you live in the woods or in the city, nature is all around us! Join us on April 27 - 28 to count for a cause and celebrate Earth Day 2024 by getting outdoors and counting as many plants and animals as you can, win prizes, and raise money to support our Mission! Learn more.

THIS WEEKEND! 🌼 Flora and Faunathon is April 27 – 28. Get outdoors for #EarthDay at Hitchcock Center’s annual self-guided weekend where participants will count as many plants and animals as you can, share what they find, win prizes, and raise money to support education for a healthy planet!

🌿 Explore your neighborhood, your backyard, nearby hiking trails, or a city park. Whether you're a lifelong naturalist, or simply want to appreciate and count the species in your neighborhood, Flora & Faunathon is for you!

TOWN-WIDE CLEAN UP
Town-wide Clean-up Day 2024
Community Participation Officers and trusty UMass Work Study Students welcome you to the 2024 Town-wide clean up effort. This event will happen rain or shine. Please wear sturdy close-toed shoes and bring eye protection (safety glasses or sunglasses). We will provide gloves, bags, and some specific training. Rally locations will be shared with registrants. Come help us keep Amherst clean and healthy!
