Have you always wanted to explore the world of birds but not wanted to get competitive about it? Don’t let another spring slip by without deepening your acquaintance with these colorful songsters. Pete will support you to observe and listen to birds, both year-round residents and migrants from the tropics. He’ll maintain a relaxed pace and help you tune in to what you are seeing and hearing, offering clues and guidance for remembering who is who. You’ll explore different habitats and learn which species prefer to live where. Binoculars will be very important for these classes. Dress to be outdoors, it can be really cold in early May mornings. Members $80/Non-members $95 for 4 classes. Sessions available individually $20. Space is limited, please call to register.
