Opening Our Doors Tomorrow!
Dear Friends,
The time has arrived!! We are opening the doors to our gorgeous new environmental education center at 845 West Street tomorrow, Tuesday, September 13! Though we are still working to put the finishing touches on our building and site, we welcome learners, explores, and nature lovers of all ages to come visit our incredible new building that is free and open to all.
Please save-the-date-our Grand Opening Celebration will be on Saturday, October 1, 2016!! I hope you can join us during this full day of festivities.
We have an exciting program line-up for this fall season, some right on our heels like the Caterpillar Lab this coming Saturday! There are many programs scheduled during the week and on the weekends this fall and we will expand drop-in hours for the public to include weekends this winter. Currently, our public hours are Tuesday-Friday, 9-5pm.
To celebrate and support our exciting new Center, we are inviting our community to join or renew their membership by October 31 for a chance to win a kayak!
Thank you supporting the Hitchcock Center past, present and future!! We are truly grateful for our generous community in keeping us strong and supporting education for a healthy planet!
With warm regards,
Julie Johnson
