Do you love watching energy flow from one thing to another, like in marble runs and falling dominoes? Do you want to explore your inner engineer and problem-solver? Then you will love our Rube Goldberg Machines program! We will spend this program collaborating and building Rube Goldberg machines – contraptions that perform a simple task in the most complicated way possible. In both individual and group settings, girls will get to experiment with everyday objects to create Rube Goldberg machines and complete challenges. Troops and individual girls welcome to this Girl Scout program. Space is limited. We will possibly go out side so everyone should be prepared with warm gear for playing outside in winter. Other than that the program will take place indoors. It would be helpful for groups to bring snacks or lunch, as people are usually hungry at the end of a 2.5 hour program!
